M is a personal digital assistant inside of Messenger that completes tasks and finds information on your behalf. But Google is now apparently interested in improving its Chrome browser, at least for Android users. A fresh blog entry on the Google India website says that the company will be rolling out a new feature to Android devices that will optimize Web pages so they load faster on slow 2G connections. What’s curious is that this will be available only to Indian users, at least for now, as Google is also launching this feature in Brazil soon....

The report suggests that Google is going make the upcoming service separate from Google+. Users will also be able to easily share images to Facebook and Twitter, which means Google is taking a different approach, probably realizing that its own Google Plus network simply can’t compete with Facebook. I tend to believe that there will be more users interested in a dedicated Google photo storage service instead of being basically forced to store their photos in G+....

In addition to boosting the pace at which your Pixel 2 processes images, the co-processor will now also allow third-party apps to leverage the company’s HDR+ technology. To kick things off, Google has introduced three partners — Snapchat, WhatsApp, and Instagram. Therefore, the quality of pictures you take on these applications should, more or less, match that of the phone’s native camera app. More apps should presumably follow in the coming months....

As with all the Chrome experimental feature this one too can be toggled on/off at chrome://flags. The Chrome Canary is usually the testbed for Google to test run a particular feature before turning it on permanently. Truth be told, Chrome has a stash of interesting opt-in features. The newest experiment is the one that beams push notification for breaking news event and is aptly titled, ‘Breaking News Push.’ Google will make use of the GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) service in order to push the notifications....
